Duckfeed's Weekend for Bernie's

Hello! We are inviting you to watch and contribute as we stream games to benefit the presidential campaign of Bernie Sanders.

Why are you doing this?

This is a very important election year, obviously. We've been horrified at the continuing cruel policies and rank corruption of the Trump presidency. But we feel that just replacing him won't be enough. Bernie Sanders is the only candidate in the Democratic field who is credibly promoting progressive policies that will address the profound economic inequality and injustice that led to a Trump election in the first place. And this weekend, in the runup to Super Tuesday, is an especially important time to raise some funds.

Why should we listen to you?

Well, you don't have to. We aren't specially qualified to endorse a political candidate. But we don't think you need extraordinary credentials to understand that things are really bad out there. We observe and live through it every day, just like you do. And based on his record and proposals, we feel like Bernie is the way to go. If you don't feel likewise, we can't force you, and that's going to have to be okay.

How does this work?

This Saturday and Sunday we will be streaming more than usual, and the streams will have donation links on them. All donations go directly through ActBlue , the payment processing service that all Democratic campaigns use. We will read your messages and make it a party. Our goal for the weekend is modest, so help us beat it!

• Saturday: Kole will be playing Frostpunk during the day, and doing his regularly-scheduled Hex Crank Live stream at night.
• Sunday: Gary and Nick will be streaming Dark Souls games during the day.
